Guilford College senior Ben Strong is the team’s lone unanimous selection.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Ten student-athletes, representing eight institutions, make up the fourth annual North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) University Division All-State women’s basketball teams released Monday. Junior Amber Bland (pictured), one of two all-state honorees from North Carolina A&T State University, earned her second consecutive first-team all-state commendation. North Carolina A&T State and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington both had two students recognized on this year’s teams.

SALISBURY, N.C. – Ten student-athletes, representing eight institutions, make up the fourth annual North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) College Division All-State women’s basketball teams released Monday. Elizabeth City State University senior Celeste Trahan (pictured) headlines the team as the first four-time all-state women’s basketball selection and joins Meredith College’s Nicole Hall the lone repeat honorees in 2007-08. Meredith and fellow USA South Athletic Conference member Greensboro College both had two students honored.
